We're looking for a skilled Database Engineer to design, build, and optimize the data systems that power our products and analytics. You'll work across cloud-native infrastructure, real-time pipelines, and AI-ready data architecture — playing a critical role in our engineering team.

What you'll do

• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data models for analytics and reporting
• Optimize cloud data warehouses — Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or BigQuery
• Implement real-time streaming using Apache Kafka or Flink
• Support AI/ML pipelines, including vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector)
• Drive data governance, security, and performance tuning across environments
• Apply DataOps practices — CI/CD, Terraform, and observability tooling

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in database or data engineering roles
• Strong SQL skills — query optimization, indexing, stored procedures
• Proficiency in Python for pipeline development and scripting
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, dbt, and Airflow
• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• AWS/GCP Data Engineer or Snowflake SnowPro certification is a plus
